Underhill’s Soil Profiler/Shovel Type 8″ x 4″ Sampler is a robust sampler that is slightly tapered to produce a large, clean, precise flat 8″ x 4″ sample for all soils. For easy use, blade half can be quickly and easily removed for examination of the soil profile, root depth, and density. Our Soil Profiler is carefully engineered with a rigid design and is equipped with fitted rubber grips for operator comfort, and two side steps to easily step sampler into the soil.
